FDenso has pioneered many developments in diesel technology and has been an OE manufacturer of Glow Plugs for many years. In fact, in 1991 Denso was the first company to produce Ceramic Glow Plugs, and today Denso Glow Plugs are fitted as original equipment by many of the world's top vehicle manufacturers. Now Denso is making the benefits of this OE quality and expertise available to the aftermarke.

From single coil, double coil, extended post-heating, and ceramic plugs Denso has a portfolio of technologies available for a fast moving range of applications with 96% of European and Japanese vehicle parc coverage.

Since 1963 Denso has set the standard for glow plug technology. Denso glow plugs are produced in facilities that are certified to ISO TS16949 and ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards. This is one more reason why Denso is able to achieve a zero defect rate in all its aftermarket programmes.

Ignition Coil Packs

What do they do?

A high voltage transformer that converts the vehicles 12 volt battery supply to the 25-30,000 volts needed to jump the spark plug gap. Triggered by the engine management ECU.

Carburettors

What they do

Controls the fuel air mixture,through all operating conditions to the engine.

Mass Air Flow Meter

What it does do?

It measures electronically the mass of air entering the engine and signals the ECU accordingly. The ECU uses this information to calculate the engine's ignition/fuel needs.

Catalytic Convertors

What they do

Catalytic converter is a post-engine “filter” that uses a combination of heat and precious metals to chemically convert an engine’s harmful emissions into less environmentally damaging ones.
