www.qha.com Quinton Hazell have recently increased their range of CV boots and have developed the stretchy CV Boot as well as the more traditional split type. Split type boots have an open seam that can be sealed once installed over the CV joint. Split type boots do no require the removal of the CV joint, as they fit over the CV joint and are then sealed. Stretch type boots are made of a very flexible rubber that allows high amounts of stretching. Stretch type boots are fitted over a special air pressure applicator and are then stretched over a detached CV joint. Split type and stretch type CV boots take on average less than half an hour to install.
