Kayaba has continued to strengthen its relationship with Subaru by supplying shock absorbers as original equipment (OE) for the latest generation Impreza. KYB branded shock absorbers and struts will now be fitted on all Impreza models including the high performance Impreza WRX STi. Kayaba's state-of-the-art front struts and rear shock absorbers are carefully designed to soften impact and absorb vibrations to improve driver comfort, while also ensuring high levels of road grip, performance handling and safety. Kayaba has increased its original equipment (OE) business with PSA Citroën and Toyota by supplying shock absorbers for the Citroën C1, Peugeot 107 and Toyota Aygo. Kayaba Industry Co. Ltd. is supplying the new Aston Martin Racing team with its Electronic Power Steering (EPS) system, in a three year technical partner sponsorship deal. KYB is supplying Nissan with world class shock absorbers for its new Note, an innovative mini people carrier. This new contract strengthens KYB's position within the original equipment (OE) market as the world's largest supplier of shocks. Designed with families in mind, the Nissan Note is versatile, practical and reassuringly safe, thanks in part to its KYB shocks. The car is fitted with KYB gas struts in the front and gas twin tube shock absorbers at the rear to offer superior handling characteristics, secure vehicle control and road holding.
